### **Introduction**
The **RI Reconciliation** document type is a structured format within the **RI Reconciliation** module used to manage and oversee reconciliation processes. 

### **1. Overview**
The **RI Reconciliation** document type captures relevant information for reconciling data within the RI framework. 

### **2. User Roles and Permissions**
### **Roles with Access**
- **System Manager**: Has full permissions including creating, editing, submitting, canceling, amending, deleting, and exporting.
- **RI User**: Similar to the System Manager, with permissions for creation, reading, editing, submitting, canceling, amending, deleting, and sharing.

**Note**: Permissions ensure only authorized users can interact with the document.

### **3. Document Fields and Descriptions**
### **Key Fields**
1. **Smart Policy**:

   - **Description**: Links to an existing **RI Smart Policy** document for reference.

2. **Genesis**:

   - **Description**: Links to a related **RI Genesis** document.

3. **Posting Date**:

   - **Description**: Today’s date when the document is posted.(read-only).


4. **Total Reconciled**:

   - **Description**: The total amount or number of reconciled items.

5. **Reconciled File**:

   - **Description**: Attach File of supporting documents related to reconciliations.

6. **Total SM UnReconciled**:

   - **Description**: The total number or value of unreconciled items related to Smart Policy.

7. **SM UnReconciled File**:

   - **Description**: Attach supporting documents related to unreconciled Smart Policy data.

8. **Total GC UnReconciled**:

   - **Description**: The total number or value of unreconciled items related to Genesis.

9. **GC UnReconciled File**:
  
   - **Description**: Attachment for supporting documents related to unreconciled Genesis data.

10. **Amended From**:

    - **Description**: Indicates the linked document that was amended to create this entry.
    - **Read-Only**.

### **4. Creating an RI Reconciliation Document**
### **Steps to Create a New Document**
1. **Navigate to the RI Reconciliation module**:
   - Go to **Modules** > **RI Reconciliation** > **RI Reconciliation**.
2. **Click “New”** to create a new document.
3. **Complete the required fields**:
   - **Smart Policy**: Link to an existing RI Smart Policy.
   - **Genesis**: Link to the related RI Genesis document.
   - **Total Reconciled**: Enter the reconciled total if applicable.
   - **Attach supporting documents** in the **Reconciled File** field as necessary.
4. **Save** the document as a draft.
5. **Submit** after reviewing to finalize.



### **5. Field Behavior and Conditions**
- **Read-Only Fields**: **Posting Date** and **Amended From** cannot be edited directly.
- **Attachments**: Ensure files are attached in the relevant fields like **Reconciled File**, **SM UnReconciled File**, and **GC UnReconciled File** for comprehensive documentation.
- **Amendment**: The **Amended From** field tracks the original document if amendments are made.


- Use descriptive file names for attachments to easily identify related files.
- Review totals like **Total Reconciled** and **Total UnReconciled** for consistency and accuracy.
